Linda Jeffers Russell
Linda is a Montclair resident and a residential real estate sales professional. Prior to her real estate career she was a haircutter and owner of two Montclair haircutting salons, and was a freelance hair and make-up artist for TV, video, and still photography. She also promoted music and comedy acts and produced several music and comedy shows featuring those artists.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Montclair State University with a BA in English Literature, Linda is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and was the recipient of the Outstanding Woman Scholar award.
Board Member of both the First Montclair House, a non-profit senior and disabled subsidized affordable housing complex, and AIM Aging in Montclair, a 501(c)(3) organization working to address issues concerning the age 60+ Montclair population through advocacy and activism, she is also a district leader of the Montclair Democratic Committee.
Linda is married to Gray Russell, a life-long Montclair resident and Environmental Officer for the township. She has a daughter who is married to a graduate of the Glen Ridge schools, and two grandchildren, who live in Bloomfield and attend the Bloomfield school system.
Linda brings to the Foundation her experience in business and production, and her enthusiasm for creativity and community involvement.
